About Taz
Taz is a one-year-old husky mix with a genuine second-chance story. He quickly became a favorite at animal control due to his bright, social, easygoing nature, but ran out of time when no one came to claim him. The staff couldn't bear to let him go, so they connected with the rescue to save him. Taz is dog- and kid-friendly, neutered, and vaccinated. Even after the instability he’s faced, he's resilient and warm, eager to bond with a new family and transition smoothly into a loving home. Still in his energetic, youthful phase, Taz is ready for adventures and down-time alike—he brings flexibility and openness to every situation. He’s not house trained yet, but at this age, he’s perfectly positioned to learn alongside a committed adopter. Taz is currently in Fosters, AL, and can be transported north if needed. He missed out on a home once; don’t let him be overlooked now. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
