Buddy is an older guy at about 5 years old and still holding out hope for a forever home. This chocolate-colored, medium-coated Labrador mix is happiest when he’s outside, whether that’s taking a walk by your side or splashing away any afternoon in the water. He does well on a leash and genuinely enjoys being active, but he’s more than ready to settle down when it’s time. Buddy needs heartworm treatment, so fostering him for just a few months could make all the difference in his life. He gets along with other dogs and children, which opens the door for family life or a dynamic pack. He is not currently house trained. At this time, he does not get along with cats.
