They are sweet, gentle souls who desperately want to trust, but we don't know what they've lived through or what kind of hell they may have known before now. What we do know is that they are trying. Desperately. These boys don't jump on you. They don't demand attention. They run from you. But if you sit quietly, offer a few treats, and speak in kind, soft voices, something beautiful happens. Slowly... timidly... they'll come closer. And once that trust begins to form, they'll reward you with the softest "thank you" kisses.🥹 Tate and Tucker are both 1-year-old males, gentle in every sense, with so much potential. They will need a patient, understanding human... someone willing to show them that love can be safe and humans can be kind. They are not broken. They are not hopeless. They are worthy of love. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet. Fees: Dogs over 6 months old: $100 Puppies under 6 months: $200.
