About Delilah Aka Olive

Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Delilah, also known as Olive, is a sweet senior lady believed to be a beagle and basset hound mix. Weighing 20 pounds and sporting a tri-color coat, she’s looking for a soft spot—a cozy bed or comfy couch—where she can spend her golden years. Delilah gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is getting the hang of the doggy door in her foster home. Occasional accidents inside are improving with consistent routines, and she seems eager to learn. For her age—likely around 10 or 11—she stays quite spry, eagerly sniffing around like a true hound. While she does bay and bark a bit, it hasn’t been disruptive so far. Once a stray who was very thin, Delilah is steadily gaining a healthy weight and shows no signs of food aggression. Though she’s not leash-experienced, her gentle senior nature means she’s unlikely to pull. She’ll make a wonderful addition to a loving family, and with her sun sign Pisces, she brings that classic gentle and affectionate energy often attributed to the sign.
