About Braveheart
Meet Braveheart! (DOB August 2025) This sweetie is FeLV+ but he is sweet as can be and very ready to find his very own forever home! Cats who are Leukemia positive can still live long and healthy lives, especially given proper care, it just means their immune systems are not working properly and they may need a few more vet trips here and there. Leukemia is technically contagious to other cats, but the odds of transmission are low, especially with cats who are healthy and properly vaccinated. Braveheart is extremely cat friendly, and would make a wonderful companion to another FeLV+ kitty, he is a sweet snuggly guy and loves other kitties! Braveheart, despite his name, is not very brave at first, but he's trying to grow into his name! He's pretty shy when he first meets you, but then warms up and is the sweetest little guy. Braveheart's ideal home would be a quiet, loving home where he has another feline companion to show him the ropes. He would probably not do well in a home with small kiddos and lots of noise, but older kids who can give him time and space to come around would be just fine. Braveheart has not been exposed to dogs, but could possibly get along with a dog who gave him lots of space and respected his boundaries. Braveheart is a lovebug and despite his FeLV+ status, very much deserves a loving home of his own. Think Braveheart could be the one for you?
