Despite everything he's been through, Truth still wants to be part of the party. He seeks out affection, leans into pets, and shows again and again that his heart is as big as his fighting spirit. Truth would do best in a home with adults only or possibly with older kids/teens who can understand and respect his boundaries, especially as he continues adjusting to indoor life. He does not like to be confined and may become stressed if restricted to a small space, so a home that allows him freedom to settle in at his own pace will be key. He absolutely loves other cats and would thrive with a feline companion—he's been especially wonderful with his foster friend Shadow and would love to be adopted with her. While he can relax on his own and be independent, he clearly craves connection and will seek out his humans for love and reassurance. A patient adopter who understands he's still in a period of transition will help him truly blossom. Truth's past has been a difficult one. He was found on the streets with severe injuries to his head and face, likely from an animal bite, and has spent months healing and being lovingly nursed back to health by his dedicated foster mom. Because of his injuries he hasn't had much opportunity to explore playtime yet—his focus has been on rest and recovery. But even while sore and uncomfortable, he remained kind, affectionate, and deeply connected to the people caring for him. It's clear he was once someone's pet, and though he endured his time alone and abandoned outside, that loving, social nature never left him. Now that he's feeling better, Truth's sweet and slightly goofy orange boy personality is just beginning to shine through. He's a total love bug who wants to be near his people, soaking up attention and companionship whenever he can. With time, patience, and a safe, loving home, there's no doubt his full personality will continue to blossom in the most beautiful ways. Truth has already fought so hard for his second chance—now he's ready to spend the rest of his life surrounded by love.
