Meet St. Luke! This handsome 2-3 year old pittie mix came to us from a local shelter with a terribly sad story. This precious house hippo was shot in the leg and left as a stray, leaving him in desperate need of help. He was rushed to a vet and found to have a leg fracture, but luckily no other injuries. Despite his ordeal, Luke remains so loving and happy. His leg is almost fully healed now! He is a friendly, outgoing boy who just loves everyone he meets. He loves other dogs, walks well on a leash, and is working hard on his crate and household manners. Luke does not do well with cats. This sweet boy has some healing to do, but he is ready to blossom and thrive! We promised St. Luke that the rest of his life, would be the best of his life. Could that be with you?
