Hi! I am Peanut, a outgoing, talkative, and very friendly kitty. I like to be the center of attention and am not afraid to tell other animals and humans of that status. I meow all the time and prefer to be by my humans all the time. I am quick - as I will sprint as fast as my four little paws will take me. I have no regard or caution flag - I am all in, willy nilly. I am comical - I will make you laugh with my silly antics. I am a good girl, with lots of love to give. I am spayed, and I am up to date on my vaccines - distemper and rabies. I have been FIV/Feline Leukemia tested and I am negative for both. I receive routine flea and tick preventatives, monthly as well as some well deserved pampering periodically: brushing, nail trims & ear cleaning. My ideal home includes a home where I can get lots of attention. I am a queen. I do not like to share the spotlight. I would do best in a home where I am the only cat. I can be spirited and spicy toward other cats. I am known to start and finish kitty squabbles. I do not know how I would do with dogs. I would do best in a home with kids who understand boundaries. I need a family that is caring, compassionate and loving. I want a family that is patient, willing to give me what I need: a warm bed, plenty of good food & clean water, and lots of pets and love. I am ready to be loved on instantly - be prepared to give me your undivided attention, all the time. My shelter family works tirelessly to ensure I and my friends go to the right family.
