About Zorro

Zorro’s story began in a car lot in Pacheco, where he learned caution as a feral kitten before being rescued at about four months old. He took to indoor life quickly, adapting to the good things: cozy places to nap, regular meals, treats, and toys. At seven months old, Zorro is still a bit shy with new faces or environments, but given a few days—and a few treats—he starts to show his playful, affectionate nature. He loves chin scratches and back strokes but startles when hands come from overhead, likely a habit carried over from his rough start outside. When he does get anxious, he bats without using his nails. Zorro gets along well with other cats, even those with bigger personalities. He’s good at reading feline social cues, respectful of alpha cats, and patient with kittens. If things get wild, he handles it by grooming his younger companions until things calm down. He does best with a playful feline friend or someone who is home often—gentle companionship helps him relax and thrive. Since leaving his outdoor beginnings behind, Zorro is ready for a calm, loving indoor home where he can settle in fully and feel secure. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
