Lana has tested positive for FIV, which is an autoimmune condition many cats live with for years without issue. The virus can't be spread through casual contact—it usually only passes through deep bite wounds or breeding, and that's not behavior Lana will engage in. She loves attention and the comfort of a regular family routine. Lana has met other cats and dogs; while she isn't used to much cat interaction and is cautious around new dogs, she adapts if the resident dog is calm and respects her space. Given time and patience, Lana settles in and feels at home. She's happiest when she knows what to expect and will do best with a family willing to give her gentle introductions to other pets.
