About Luna
Think you are the one? Submit an application! Luna is a wonderful senior husky mix who is currently enjoying life as a hospice foster. Though she's about 12 years old and faces some mobility challenges, her spirit shines through. Luna is deaf, but she's learned hand signals for important commands like COME, SIT, and LEAVE IT, making communication seamless and rewarding. When she first arrived, Luna was shy and apprehensive about human touch. With patience, she's blossomed and now greets her foster caregiver warmly and enjoys gentle scratches behind her ears. While stairs can be a bit of a challenge for her, Luna's energy comes alive when she sees her leash, showing off that signature husky enthusiasm! Her leash manners are still a work in progress, reflecting her strong and determined nature, but she's making steady improvements every day. Luna feels secure and content in her current home, where she knows she's cherished. She truly deserves a comfortable and loving place to spend her days. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
