Meet Bubba! Bubba originally ended up at the shelter when he was found as a stray in July 2023. He was adopted at that time but unfortunately he was returned in November after he didn't get along with the resident dog. During his time in their home, Bubba lived with kids and did so well with them! His owner had all great things to say but unfortunately didn't think it was a safe environment when Bubba and the other dog fought. His owner said he's loyal, loving and knows several commands. He is now looking for a forever home where he doesn't have to coexist with other male dogs. See what his friends said during his behavior eval on 11/15: "Bubba is very sweet! He explored on his own for a while, mostly marking, and seemed content doing his own thing but equally as happy to interact with me. He was social with me and other handlers we walked by, loves wiggling over and getting attention. Bubba allows all over pets staying loose and wiggly, leans in for butt scratches. He loves treats, sits for them, and takes them gently. He can get a bit overexcited and jump a bit/ slam into you but is very easily redirected."
