About Gerty
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Gerty. Gerty is a lively and sweet senior cat who is hoping to find her forever home very soon. Gerty loves attention, especially if you are her favorite human. Gerty is affectionate and full of personality, sure to keep you entertained. She's an excellent biscuit maker and will curl up at your feet when you sleep. Gerty's favorite toys are laser pointers, feather wands, and a sprinkle of cat nip. Despite her love for adults, she isn't sure how she feels with children. Older children who will respect her boundaries are recommended. Gerty has lived with a variety of animals in the past but has decided she would prefer to be the one and only or just have one older adult cat friend. Gerty has a heart murmur and takes a daily medication for her heart, which she will need for life, along with yearly bloodwork. She also had a dental procedure while in care, which adds an extra cost to her adoption fee. Stop by the shelter today to get some amazing hugs and attention from Gerty! Adoption is the new adventure! Ready to roll?
