Meet Onyx. Onyx was transferred to our shelter for a chance at finding his forever home. Onyx has as much love to give as he has the biggest cheeks ever. Onyx loves to talk to staff as we engage with him, always curious about what is going on around him. We don't know anything about his past, but we think he would get along with children as long as they respect his boundaries. Onyx may get along with a cat or dog provided there is a slow introduction. This handsome boy hopes his new family will spoil him with lots of catnip, toys, and the occasional treat. Onyx has a condition called entropion, meaning his eyelid curls in a little. He had surgery to fix this to make sure his eye doesn't get infected or irritated in the future. Onyx also has FIV, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. Onyx isn't required to go to a home with only FIV+ cats, but our staff can counsel you on potential risks.
