About Onyx
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Onyx. Onyx was transferred to the Virginia Beach SPCA for a chance at finding his forever home. He is a loving cat with massive cheeks and a heart to match, always eager to chat and interact with staff as he curiously observes his surroundings. Though his past is a bit of a mystery, Onyx is believed to get along with respectful children and may do well with other cats or dogs, as long as introductions are gradual. He’s hoping for a family that can spoil him with catnip, toys, and plenty of treats. Onyx recently had surgery to correct entropion, a minor eyelid condition, and also lives with Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), but staff will provide guidance regarding this so he can safely join a loving home of any makeup. Stop by and give this charismatic boy’s cheeks a gentle squeeze—you might just find a new best friend! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
