About Garnet
Garnet is currently fostered in Greeneville, TN. She is available for out-of-state adoption to the perfect forever home - and transportation to her forever home will be coordinated by our rescue! +++ Meet Garnet, a sweet and easygoing pup who is ready to find the family she’s been waiting for! This adorable Treeing Walker Coonhound mix (with maybe a little hint of Beagle) is about 3–4 months old and is truly the old soul of her litter. While she still enjoys playtime and exploring, Garnet has a more relaxed, “go with the flow” personality and is often the one happily observing before joining in. She’s affectionate, gentle, and always up for some cozy puppy snuggles. Garnet is already doing wonderfully with her puppy basics. Potty training is going very well and she is currently pee pad trained, and she is also making great progress with crate training. She has been raised alongside her siblings, as well as three foster dogs, a cat, and three young children, and she has proven to be incredibly social and adaptable. Garnet takes everything in stride, making her an especially easy pup to love and care for. At just a few months old, Garnet still has some growing to do. While her exact adult size isn’t guaranteed, we expect she will likely be a medium-sized dog once fully grown. Her calm, steady nature makes her a wonderful fit for a variety of homes, especially for a family looking for a puppy who brings both sweetness and a sense of ease. Garnet is looking for a family ready for the joys (and responsibilities!) of puppyhood. In return, she’ll offer endless love, companionship, and a gentle presence that will quickly make her a beloved member of the family. +++++++ ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://www.stmuttsrescue.com/adoption-application +++++++ The Truth About Rescue: Every rescue pup is a work in progress — and that’s the beauty of it. None of them come wrapped in a bow, ready-made or mistake-free. They come with stories, quirks, and hearts that have seen a lot but still choose to trust again. Adoption isn’t about perfection; it’s about presence. Showing up for them, every day, until they know they’re finally home. That’s when you’ll see them bloom — soft and steady — into the very best version of themselves. And somewhere along the way, you’ll realize they were never the only one being rescued. +++++++ Once we have received your application, we will review and reach out to set-up an interview with one of our volunteers! If you have additional questions, please email us at SaintMuttsInquiries@gmail.com. Note: As with all of our rescues, we recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.
