About Piper
Piper is a 3-year-old Pit mix who landed at the rescue after some time on her own. She’s got a classic brindle and white coat and weighs in around medium size. Piper thrives on play, energy, and anything that involves food—she’ll even stand up for treats. While she’s friendly with those she meets, she occasionally needs a little extra time to get comfortable, so a few slow introductions (especially with kids) will help her come out of her shell. Piper splits the difference between wanting affection and enjoying moments to herself. She likes being pet, loves attention, but won’t mind having her own corner to retreat to when she needs a breather. She hasn’t nailed house training just yet, so patience and consistency will be important as she learns. Piper would do best with adopters who are willing to give her the time, structure, and calm she needs to grow more confident. As a Pisces, she just might surprise you with her emotional smarts and capacity for connection. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
