Becker is afraid of dogs and will prefer a home with no dog or a very quiet, calm dog who will leave him alone. He will take extra time to become comfortable if there is a dog in his home. Good with cats? Yes, he does fine with other cats, but is more reserved and shy around another cat. He may be able to live with another friendly, gentle cat who wants a companion, or he may thrive as a solo cat. Good with kids? He has met older children 12+ and will do OK with any kids who respect his space, and if he has a safe room or space to escape to. He may give occasional love bites so he’ll be best with kids 5+ who understand boundaries. Energy level: Medium Low. He naps during the day and will watch out the window, but as soon as a human is around, he wants to be pet, brushed and sit in your lap or held like a baby. Medical needs: Becker has mild tartar and his adopter should be aware that he may need a dental cleaning and/or extractions in the future. Animal Characteristics: Becker is a very calm, chill, affectionate, easy going boy. His adopter must love a talkative lap cat and appreciate his interactive, charming purrsonality! He will give quiet meows for your attention and follow you around. Once he’s satisfied with attention he will lay next to you or hang out. If there is a lap available, he will sit in it, or he’ll cuddle on your chest. Becker quickly forms a bond with his human and would love someone who works from home or is home more often than not.
