Meet Pharoh Pharoh is a 2-year-old Pharoah hound mix weighing in at 51 pounds of pure muscle and charm. This handsome guy didn’t have the easiest start—he was found as a stray and sadly never claimed—but he’s ready to leave his past behind and start his royal new life with you. At first glance, Pharoh might play it a little shy. New people and places can make him unsure, but don’t let that fool you... bring out a little cheese and BOOM—you’ve got a best friend for life. Once he warms up, his sweet and loyal personality really shines. Pharoh is a strong boy with lots of energy to burn. He absolutely loves going on walks and would thrive with an active family who can keep up with his adventurous spirit. Because the world can feel a bit big and scary to him right now, he would really benefit from some general training and socialization to help build his confidence. His compatibility with cats, children, and other dogs is currently unknown, so slow introductions and guidance will be key to helping him succeed. Pharoh is available through our foster-to-adopt program, which means you can welcome him into your home while he completes his vetting at our vet. This includes neuter, vaccines, microchip, and heartworm testing—all taken care of while you get to know your new best friend.
