Hello, I'm Lucas, a blue and white pit bull mix. I'm looking for a fun and loving home. While I am about 60 pounds, I tend to feel like a puppy and a lap dog. I'm a sweet, funny, and smart boy who knows how to sit and give you my paw. I'm also hilariously funny and like to do silly things like look at myself in the mirror and sleep in cozy places like small laundry baskets. I love to run and play with tennis balls and I give the best hugs ever. I'm great with children, but older kids who handle my energy are preferred. I'm especially fond of men and I love to wrestle and play with them. I'm very loyal and affectionate and I will greet you like an enthusiastic lion when you come home. I'm good with other dogs, but I need slow introductions as I don’t get along with every dog. I don't like to be in a crate, but I'm house and leash trained. I am also not destructive so I do well when left to roam the home. I'm vaccinated, heartworm negative, and neutered. We are not sure if I'm good with cats or other animals, but I can be tested if you’d like. I'm being fostered in Hampton, VA, but I can be transported if you're the one for me.
