Meet Shady! Shady is a 1.5 year old, 11-pound Chi-mix who loves kisses, cuddles, and toys. He has the cutest little white socks on all his paws. Shady had a bit of a rough start in life. He came to us from our Texas shelter partner. He had been hit by a car and a good Samaritan brought him in. His right front leg was broken and we feared amputation. But the surgeon was able to repair his leg and Shady was a model patient. Shady wakes up happy and his tail never stops wagging. This high energy little guy loves toys and runs all over the house with them. He gets along well with other dogs and is always asking them to play. He takes a little while to warm up to new people, but once he does, he's your little buddy. Shady walks well on a leash and is housebroken. He is still learning how to ask to go outside now that he's no longer on crate-rest. He is a big fan of running around the back yard and loves to chase squirrels. He is crate trained and willingly goes in for sleepies. He adores treats, his Kong, snuffle ball, and treat puzzles. He loves attention and is happiest when he is cuddling with his humans. He really likes to play with his humans and can be quite persistent when he's in the mood for fun.
