After a difficult past that left her unsure of the world, Marcella came back to foster care understandably cautious and guarded. But with time, patience, and the gentle guidance of a friendly resident cat, she's starting to discover that life can be safe, calm, and full of kindness. Now, she's thriving, spending more time out in the open, relaxing her body, and showing those first sweet signs of curiosity and trust. Marcella will do best in a quiet, peaceful home with a calm presence, and she'll absolutely need a kitty friend to help her continue to grow in confidence (no dogs for this girl). She may take time to fully open up, but the progress she's already made is nothing short of inspiring. This extra special girl has so much love left to give, and for the right person, helping her continue her journey will be as rewarding as watching spring come to life. Marcella is FIV/FeLV negative, up to date with vaccinations, flea-treated, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed. Her birthday is estimated to be around 4/22/23.
