About Iridium
Iridium—sometimes called Iri—has been navigating a lot of new experiences lately. Not long ago, she was living outside, tentatively reaching out for contact with people. Now, safe in a foster home, she's been adjusting quickly to indoor life. At first, Iridium was nervous, but she’s blossomed with gentle attention and plenty of pets, even greeting her foster mom at the door and offering "help" with the litterbox just to get more affection. She’s discovered she actually enjoys being held and snuggled for short stretches, and playtime with people now gets her excited. While she’s still figuring out if she wants to be a lap cat, she reliably chooses to hang out in the same room as her person and has made friends with other foster cats after some initial hesitation—turns out, she's a fan of energetic games of chase. Her silvery coat suits her name, inspired by the precious metal. Born April 1, Iridium is an Aries, and some of that bold spirit is starting to show as she settles in.
