About S'mores

IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFINDER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit: www.frecklesfoundation.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet S'mores S'mores is a gorgeous longhaired tortie with a brave little spirit. She survived a hunting trap as a tiny kitten and now gets around beautifully on three legs - it hasn't slowed her down at all. She's shy at first and needs time to feel safe. You won't see her all the time in the beginning, and she won't be ready for petting right away. But once she trusts you, she melts into a gentle, affectionate cuddlebug. Because of her early trauma, S'mores needs an experienced adopter, a quiet, lowvolume home, and a friendly resident cat to help her feel secure. With patience and a soft place to land, she'll blossom into the loving companion she's meant to be. The adoption fee for this kitten is $200/$350 for a pair. Application for adoption: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FRE/Cat If you are viewing on Petfinder and cannot see photos or would like to apply for this kitten, please visit our website www.frecklesfoundation.org ***Please note that the first step in the process is to complete our nonbinding application which does not commit you in any way, but allows us to help you to find a great match. Our application review process also includes a veterinary reference check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives (if applicable) and examined annually by your vet.*** Cats adopted through Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue must be indoor only and may not be declawed unless already declawed at the time of rescue.
