About Jordan
Jordan was born in 2015, making him a wise, older chocolate-and-white parti cocker spaniel who lost his vision to severe glaucoma. After surgery to remove both eyes, life changed for him—he ended up spending much of his time crated for his own safety, especially when bullied by another dog in his former home. Since coming to his foster family, who know a thing or two about helping blind dogs, Jordan has figured out the doggie door, found the stairs, and picked the best spot on the sofa for naps. He memorizes the home's layout fast and enjoys his routines, particularly when it's mealtime. Jordan is affectionate and enjoys lap time, back scratches, and settling near your chair. He sleeps at night in a roomy exercise pen so he can rest comfortably without disturbing other dogs. In his current foster setup, he’s not crated. Outdoors, he loves to sniff and explore, but he does need a fenced yard to stay safe. He gets along with other dogs, though there’s a bit of a learning curve those first days as he sorts out his place. His previous owner said he loves children; supervision, as with any dog, is a must. He hasn’t met cats yet. Teaching Jordan a new home layout takes patience, but the payoff is having a devoted, happy companion who gives back so much affection. Fun fact: Jordan is a Capricorn—a sign known for perseverance and loyalty, qualities he definitely lives up to. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
