Meet Sally! This loving 3 year old mixed breed gal came to us from a rural animal control after she was found as a stray, heavily pregnant and ready to pop. And pop she did! Sally gave birth just a few minutes after arriving in our care, almost like she was waiting until she knew her and her puppies were safe. Unfortunately Sally was not cut out for motherhood, and her newborns were given to another nursing mama while Sally battled an infection and was hospitalized. Now, finally healed, Sally is ready for her final victory! She is a sweet, lovable girl who is pretty mellow and learning her manners. She does well with other dogs and cats, walks well on a leash, and is food motivated. Here's what her foster has to say: "She seems to be housebroken we haven’t had any accidents. Low energy, very sweet, she’s really quiet. Loves her dog beds. Seems to like just being around her humans. She's a very good girl."
