8 month old Buckwheat is looking for a forever home who will appreciate his energetic, playful, happy self! Everything is a toy to this youngster, but his favorite are toys that dangle or are on a string. He also favors little fuzzy balls that he can carry all around the house (no doubt trying to impress you with his superior hunting skills). This shadow of a cat will follow you anywhere, always wanting to be part of the action or supervising all the happenings in the house. Buckwheat is also crazy affectionate - he will grab your face with his little paws so he can kiss you or he'll sweetly lick your hands. However, if you go to dismiss yourself from the interaction, and he's not ready for you to leave, he might give you a little "Don't go!" swipe (never aggressively, but may this behavior may catch some people off guard). He has lived with 3 large dogs and gets along with them well. He also doesn't mind living with fellow kitty friends, but he would not be a great fit for quiet, shy, senior cats or anyone who doesn't match his energy/vibe as he can be *a lot* (he can play rough at his age, so resident felines should be up to the task of the level of play). This pet is altered (spayed/neutered), up to date on age appropriate vaccines, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed and microchipped.
