At first glance she may look like a gentle wallflower, but don’t be fooled—Petal has recently discovered her inner explorer and is now walking on leash... and sometimes leading the parade. Confidence looks good on her. Petal is very treat-motivated, which means snacks = courage. Treats will be your secret weapon for training, encouragement, and helping her through any spooky moments. Petal was recently adopted but returned because it wasn’t the right fit. Her previous home shared that she is housetrained and did well with women and cats. She would do best in a home with a secure fence (taller than 3 ft), as she may try to explore if given the opportunity. She can be fearful of men and may need slow, patient introductions, and at this time may prefer to be the only dog or have very careful, gradual dog introductions.
