About Scampi
Think you are the one? Submit an application! Meet Scampi, an approximately 1-year-old, medium-sized Australian Cattle Dog and Corgi mix, weighing in at 29 lbs. Rescued as a pregnant stray, she lovingly raised her puppies in safety and is now searching for her very own forever home. Scampi is still figuring out life in a typical home and can be a bit shy and hesitant at first, sometimes wagging her tail for attention and then second-guessing herself. Her gentle, sweet personality emerges more each day with patience and kindness. She is seeking a calm, adult-only environment where someone will help her build confidence at her own pace. Scampi would especially benefit from having a friendly, confident canine companion to show her the ropes. She will need ongoing support with house training and walking on leash. Because she can become frightened by change, she requires a secure home, slow transitions (starting her journey home in a crate), and at least two meet-and-greets to ensure a comfortable match. With the right person willing to help her flourish, the bond you create will be truly special. Fun fact: Scampi’s birthday is January 12, placing her under the sign of Capricorn, a sun sign known for resilience and growth! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
