HI, I'M RIO! Okay listen... I may have been dropped off outside the shelter like a lost Amazon package, but I'm trying REALLY hard to pretend it was all part of my "mysterious handsome boy" backstory. When I got here I was skinny, had a case of "happy tail," and no idea how the world worked. But look at me now-I'm glowing. I'm a young dude with lots of love and zoomies, and yeah... I'm still learning some manners. Sometimes I get so excited to say hi that my whole body forgets the rules (if you've ever jumped up on someone you love, you get it ). I also guard my snacks and toys because... um... I'm still working on trusting that they won't disappear again. BUT! I walk beautifully on leash, love fetch, adore toys, passed my cat test (nailed it ), and I can hang with calm dog friends in the yard. Mostly, I just need a patient foster hero who can help me gain confidence and show me how to dog correctly out in the real world.
