About Zelda
Meet Zelda! Zelda weighs in at just 30 pounds and will likely stay on the smaller side. Don't let her size fool you—she's always up for long hikes or bike rides and doesn't skip a beat on the trail. Recently, Zelda spent several weeks at a behavior facility and really shined there, showing progress with her training and recall. She was adopted previously but returned after a resource guarding incident with another dog, which has since been addressed. For Zelda to thrive, she'll need an active, experienced owner who can continue her training and management. She fits the mold of a classic heeler puppy—sharp, energetic, and determined. Her recall is strong, but she will need continued work in her new home, especially with longline exercises. To stack the odds in Zelda's favor, she should be the only dog in the household, even though she's quite social with other dogs out and about. If you're ready for a bright, active companion and can offer structure and guidance, Zelda could be a fantastic fit. She’s a Taurus, so expect plenty of determination and loyalty.
