About Chico

Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Chico is a lovable, three-year-old brown tabby with enchanting light sage green eyes who is looking for a fresh start at Serenity Animal Hospital. Originally adopted as a kitten, Chico recently found himself back at the shelter—through no fault of his own—after changes in his previous owner's situation. While he was initially unsettled, he soon reminded everyone of his playful personality and irresistible charm. This big, 19.5-pound cat is full of life and adores being the center of attention. Chico thrives on playtime, affection, and being social with both children and other cats, making him a wonderful addition to a family home. He is, however, not a fan of dogs and would do best in a dog-free environment where he can truly relax. To support his health, Chico needs a family ready to help him slim down with plenty of healthy playtime and a balanced diet. Chico comes neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has tested negative for FIV, FeLV, and Heartworm disease. He is friendly, affectionate, and playful—a perfect companion for those looking for a loving and loyal feline friend. He's already experienced the joys of a caring home and is eager for a second chance at forever happiness. Please note: Chico must be kept as an indoor-only cat and may not be declawed, as per adoption policies. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
