Location: Minneapolis, MN Stefon, or Stef for short, has been doing well in our house. He is a lover and comes up for hugs and pets initially. He does jump up for those hugs, but is redirected fairly quickly. He has gotten along well with our resident dog & family dog that has visited. He isn't much of a player, but the squeaky toys piqued his interest when the others were playing. He didn't initially love kenneling at night but he has gotten better and has been quiet all night. He is in the same room as us, so we think that helps. He does well on the leash when we have gone on walks and is interested in bunnies & squirrels. Currently he is a little afraid of the leash going outside, but we're working on it. He also did well with our nephew, though went right to try for a hug & kisses. But he was able to sit and gets pets and be his friend. He has done well when left alone and free during the day with our dog. He is anxious at times but it is still early in the routine. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
