Hi there! My name is Mendez and I am available for adoption! I weigh 45 pounds and am considered a medium-large size breed. I am a husky mix! I know my colors may surprise you, but my floof tells all the tales! I am an independent dog who likes to do my own thing. My caregivers have observed that I might not get along with other dogs. I may do best as the only dog in my new home, or I may need a very slow introduction to other dogs. I can get very nervous in new situations! Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home. Due to my nervousness, I would do best in a home with older children. I enjoy my kong toy, and going for short walks where I can sniff around the yard! However, because I've been so shy here at the shelter, it's been hard to get a good feel for what I really like doing. I'd like a home where I can explore new things at my own pace!
