Meet Shayla, a stunning 2–3 year old red shepherd mix with a heart as big as her smile! Every morning she greets you with the cutest toothy grin, clearly overjoyed to see her people (and maybe a little excited for breakfast, too). Shayla has an incredibly loving, gentle personality and absolutely adores kids - she truly seems to have no bad bone in her body. She’s easygoing around food and completely comfortable being handled, making her a wonderfully trusting and sweet companion. Shayla is happiest when she has space to explore and enjoy the outdoors. She loves roaming, chasing lizards, and showing off her athletic side with impressive jumps and the most joyful, bouncy zoomies. While her recall isn’t quite there yet, she naturally stays close and is easy to walk up to and leash when it’s time to head back. She’s also great with other dogs and gives a few alert barks when someone approaches, quickly settling once she realizes everything is safe. Though she’s still getting used to indoor life, Shayla’s future is bright with a family who will give her the time and love to adjust. She’s already starting to move on from motherhood and seems ready for her next chapter. With her love for affection, you can see pure happiness light up her face during every pet and cuddle.
