About Butter Lamb

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Butter Lamb, affectionately called Lamby, is a 2-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who arrived from a puppy mill in Ohio sporting a unique shorn haircut—her lovely flowing coat will soon return. In just a short period, Lamby’s growing confidence and need for affection have made her a loving lap companion, even as she’s still a bit wary of touch. She’s playful with other dogs, curious about toys, and full of bustling puppy energy—imagine the enthusiasm of a young puppy in an adorably plump adult dog body! With boundless, sometimes comical, energy, she’s discovering the world and charging around with cheerful abandon. Her ideal family must have a friendly canine companion for her to bond with and a secure, fenced yard, as she’s still learning leash skills and benefits from a safe outdoor space. Lamby is also making steady progress on housebreaking, shows perfection in her crate, and is getting more comfortable in the car each day. If you have a patient heart and a sense of humor, you’ll love the journey watching this endearing girl come out of her shell. She’s even adapting well to cats, learning their less playful preferences. Lamby is working on weight loss—now 26 lbs, she’s already shed nearly 2 pounds! Her cheerful antics will undoubtedly help her reach her healthiest self. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
