Give her a little time and she’ll settle in, spending her days either close by, soaking up peaceful moments, or happily content just doing her own thing when she needs some breathing room. You get the best of both worlds with Delilah—gentle presence and easy independence. She’s previously lived with both cats and dogs, taking things as they come and fitting in well, so long as her home is relaxed and the other animals are respectful. Delilah recently landed back at the shelter due to litter box issues in her last home, but those have not resurfaced since her return. It’s possible she was stressed or reacting to something not quite right in that environment. What is clear: Delilah deserves a patient, kind adopter who gives her the reassurance and second chance she needs. Spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, she’s ready to move forward.
