Meet River & Rory! These handsome brothers are a little over a year old Lab/Hound mixes, each weighing just over 50 pounds—and each bringing their own unique look and personality to the pair. River (the one with the brown face) and Rory (black face with those adorable brown eyebrows) are as sweet as they come. They’re gentle, loving boys who are still learning that the world is a safe place. Right now, they can be a bit nervous and shy—but with patience, kindness, and a little time, their true personalities start to shine through. And when they do? Absolute gems. River and Rory get along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats. They would do best in homes with older children who understand how to give them space as they settle in and build trust. While we’d love to see them adopted together, they could also thrive separately—as long as they have another confident dog in the home to help show them the ropes and boost their confidence. These boys have so much love to give. Once they feel safe, they will blossom into loyal, affectionate companions and truly wonderful family dogs.
