About Evangeline
Evangeline’s had a tough journey, but she’s ready for a fresh start filled with love and tranquility. This sweet girl once roamed the streets alone, facing hardships that left her with scars, both emotionally and physically. Luckily, a compassionate officer rescued her, and she found a foster mom who earned her trust. Despite her shy demeanor around new faces, Evangeline quickly warms up with patience and gentle kindness. She has a playful side, showcasing her affection through nose bumps, which she considers her special way of giving “Eskimo kisses.” Evangeline enjoys a serene environment, craving a peaceful home where she can bask in the sun's warmth and watch the world outside from her cozy perch. While she thrives as the only cat, she does well with calm dogs who respect her space. Although Evangeline is FIV positive, she doesn’t require special care, just regular vet visits, a safe indoor home, and love. Don’t let FIV deter you; many FIV positive cats live full, happy lives. Evangeline is ready to bring joy and companionship to a loving family. If you think you can offer Evangeline the calm home she seeks, apply today!
