Mama Dixie is doing amazing on leash training. This baby girl deserves the world after her owners abandoned her and her puppy 🐶 💔😢 Mama Dixie is available for adoption. There is another longer video on our page from a couple of days ago. There is no reason for her to stay with us. She is amazingly sweet, she LOVES all her people both big and small. Dixie is wonderful with other dogs and has been fine with my cats. We are working on crate training and that is going fabulous, she keeps it clean but doesn't yet understand it, she'd much rather be on your lap or following you around. 😉 We are currently taking applications and she is scheduled for her vet care on 3/31/2026, she will then be able to leave with her forever family. We do allow out of state adoptions but you must be prepared to travel to Decatur IN to meet with us in person, we do not transport.
