He is about 1 - 2 years old, and weighs around 50 lbs. Buddy has a pleasant demeanor, and is a great "kid," companion and family member. Buddy is a pack dog 100%, and requires another pup (or more) to play with. If Mr Buddy doesn't get exercise or have a playmate, he escapes to find one (he is one of those pups who can climb a chain link fence)! Buddy is a social pup and treasures the company of both dogs and people. His energy rates about a 7/8 on a 1-10 scale. He does require exercise and walks. He loves adventures, car rides, walks, and is great on a leash. He is not what we would call a couch potato. He is very curious, and loves to explore. He is super smart and likes to engage. He learns fast, and loves songs, puzzles and fetch. Yes, we said SONGS, because if you play music, he sings! In general though he is fairly quiet. He does bark when someone comes into the house or yard. And in addition to the singing, he does love to talk (but not excessively). He understands that communication goes both ways, an responds well to commands such as SIT, STAY, COME and KISSES. Buddy is an affectionate fuzz ball. He is a big fan of kisses and belly rubs. You will love how he greets you with the best hugs! He is a lover, not a fighter. In terms of prey drive... he caught a duck, and brought it to his foster unharmed. A FEW OTHER IMPORTANT POINTS: Buddy is house-trained. He is crated only at bedtime or when home alone. No storm or separation anxiety, and no known health concerns.
