About Joy
Joy is a little sparkplug who lives up to her name. She’s the rare blend of lap cat and zoomie machine, just as happy chasing her own tail as she is sprawled in your lap for cheek rubs. Joy absolutely loves wet food, human food, and treats—keep an eye on your plate or she’ll happily help herself. Playtime is big on her list, especially chasing after the laser pointer’s red dot or darting around the house like a tiny tornado before settling in for TV time with you. Joy does best as the only cat in the house—she’s queen of her castle and prefers not to share the spotlight with other felines. She’s relaxed and social with human visitors and would thrive in a household with adults and older children who know the value of a good head scratch and some playtime. Joy has worked her way back from a difficult start but now she’s ready for someone to give her the safe, loving home she deserves. She’s looking for someone ready to add a bit more joy—literally and figuratively—to their home, and she will be right there with you for every adventure, big or small. Start your journey together!
