While much of her past remains unknown, what is certain is that she endured hardship no dog should ever experience. After spending nearly two months in the shelter without adoption interest, she was placed on the euthanasia list. Her life changed within hours. A foster family stepped in, and with the support of Diamonds in the Ruff Rescue, Mama Peaches was given the second chance she so deeply deserved. What makes Mama Peaches truly remarkable is not just her survival - it is her spirit. Despite everything she has been through, she greeted her foster with a wagging tail, a gentle demeanor, and a readiness to trust again. From the very first moment, she showed nothing but kindness, resilience, and love. Mama Peaches is a calm, low-energy companion who thrives in a peaceful environment. She enjoys her daily walks and walks beautifully on a leash without pulling. She is incredibly intelligent, intuitive, and loyal - with qualities often seen in German Shepherd-type dogs - and she forms deep, meaningful bonds with her people. She is wonderful with other dogs and has integrated seamlessly into her foster home. Not only is she dog-friendly, but she also does exceptionally well with puppies and more energetic dogs.
