Rusty is a very sweet and friendly orange tabby that was rescued from outdoor life after being attacked by a dog. He is a big boy, weighing over 15lbs, and is so full of love! His favorite things are getting head and cheek scratches and rolling around in catnip. He loves to be around people and follows his foster mom around to hang out. He is a chatty boy with a cute raspy voice. His meows sound like he is saying "hi!" to you. Rusty is neutered, fully vaccinated, and is current on flea/worm prevention. He is FIV+, but can live with other cats as long as they get along and are not fighting. FIV is not contagious to other cats just from sharing bowls, toys, or litterboxes. It is transmitted among adult cats through blood exposure or deep bite wounds. Cats with FIV also have normal life expectancies with proper vet care.
