About Tribble And Trouble
Please read through the entire posting and requirements before applying via our questionnaire at https://alleycatproject.org/adopt Please do not submit an inquiry via Petfinder Meet Tribble and Trouble, a bonded pair of kitten sisters! They are approximately 5-6 months old. Tribble is a medium haired, Russian blue colored cat. She is the braver of the sisters, always the first to meet benchmarks like eating snacks out of my hand and leaning in for pets. She has a purr so loud that when people say an engine purrs like a kitten, they are specifically referring to Tribble. She’s pretty much the perfect cat and very sweet. It’s easy to fall in love with her. Trouble, a short haired tabby, is the more shy of the two. She relies on Tribble to prove that something is safe before she tries it. Her adopter will need a little more patience in socializing her. They will need to pay attention to her body language, because when she’s done petting, she often shrinks away a little or even puts her teeth on your finger. This is her being polite. If you push contact, she might give you a tiny scratch. As she becomes more settled and spends more time with her new family, this behavior will improve, but she shouldn’t be adopted by a family with small children. Trouble also shows great signs of being a cuddly lap cat! She has started crawling into my lap every time I visit her fostering room. She’ll get jealous of Tribble’s pets and just slide herself under my hand: “I’ll have what she’s having.” Tribble loves affection and often asks for belly rubs, but hasn’t yet taken to curling up in laps. To each her own! Together, they make an adorable pair, constantly cuddling and grooming each other. They love eating Churu and playing with Da’ Bird. They are so soft! You will not want to stop petting them. They will be a wonderful addition to their adopter’s family. And no need to worry about “The Trouble with Tribbles” as they are already spayed!
