Hi. My name is Benny I'm currently in California. My bags are packed, I'm ready to travel to my new home. Where are you? Are you my new family? I'll travel to you! I'm two years old. German Shepherd. Husky mix. One blue eye... yes, just one. The other one is just as good, don't worry. I urgently need a foster in California until I can find an adopter. I do need an experienced person because I need structure and training. Are you able to help? I just got sprung from the shelter, so please excuse my nonsense. It's cool to be free! People notice me when I walk by. I hear things like “Wow” and “Look at him” and “Those eyes.” I try to stay humble about it. I've been told I have a long, lean, athletic build. I call it “built for important walks.” Speaking of which... I walk pretty nicely on a leash. I go outside, do my business like a gentleman, and keep moving. It's kind of my thing. I'm friendly. I like people. I'll come up, say hello, and hang out like we've met before. Easy to be around. Easy to like. Now... I'm still learning. I've got the brains of a Shepherd and the spirit of a Husky, so I'll need someone who enjoys training and structure. I want to learn. I just need someone to show me the way. Other dogs, cats, kids? We're still figuring that out. If you need to know, just ask and we can help set up the right introductions. What I do know is this. I like being out in the world. I like walking next to my person. I like attention, and I don't mind being the talk of the block. I'm looking for someone who sees the potential in me and wants a dog they can build something with.
