Layla had the BEST day ever! Hi, I'm Layla (ASC#97690), and today I got to leave the shelter for a field trip adventure. At first, I was a little nervous in the car - new things can be scary sometimes - but once we got to my human's apartment, I started exploring every corner like the curious girl I am. But honestly? The second my human sat on the floor, I decided investigating could wait... because cuddles were WAY more important. I climbed right into her lap and snoozed there for two whole hours. Personal space? Never heard of it. Later, we went to the park, and WOW - so many smells! I tried to inspect every trash can (there might've been snacks in there, okay?) and I even attempted to chase some birds. My human learned pretty quickly that I'm stronger than I look! I met lots of new people too. I'm pretty shy at first, especially around new faces, but once I realized they were nice, I happily accepted pets and attention. A few things about me: I'm a professional sitter I LOVE treats and food I give excellent kisses I have lots of energy and could use some leash practice Kids make me nervous, and I'd prefer slow introductions I just want to be as close to you as possible all the time My favorite part of the day?
