She is ready for her second chance at life. She is full of love and joy. In typical Husky fashion, she shows her love by talking to you and giving the best hugs. Dafne was rescued from the county shelter, where she was scheduled to be euthanized due to overcrowding. She was going to lose her life despite being happy and healthy. Dafne would love to find a family who loves taking daily walks just as much as she does. Maybe the occasional trip to the beach or the mountains. Really anywhere, as long as she’s with you! We definitely cannot forget to mention her love for swimming/water. She is an Olympic-level doggy paddler! Someone needs to give her a gold medal. 🥇 Dafne does get along with other dogs, but she would probably prefer to be the only fur child. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed about tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport. *Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year. *Listed breed and age are based on a best-guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption. *Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption. *All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
