About Jelly Bean
Meet Jelly Bean, a 4-year-old Labradoodle weighing 38 pounds. This gentle girl may be a little shy at first, but underneath that reserved exterior is a very sweet, loving companion just waiting to feel safe and settled. On walks, Jelly Bean likes to lead the way but does so nicely on leash, making her a pleasant walking partner. She keeps her run clean at the shelter, which is a great sign as she transitions into a home routine. Jelly Bean has been diagnosed with Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI), a condition where the pancreas doesn’t produce enough digestive enzymes. She will need daily enzyme supplements and a specific diet for life to help her stay healthy and feel her best. With the right care and consistency, dogs with EPI can thrive and live happy, full lives. If you’re looking for a quiet, kind-hearted dog to grow with and give a little extra love to, Jelly Bean may be the perfect fit. Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
