About Romeo D
*This animal is a part of our "Seniors for Seniors" program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt an eligible pet at a discounted fee.* Mason is a sweet boy with a few quirky, lovable traits. He does well with dogs his size or smaller. He's also been around our Cheagle and does fine with her, as long as she respects his space. He's great at communicating-he'll hop and bark when he needs to go outside or wants attention. When he gets excited, he may growl, but it's not aggressive at all-it's just his way of expressing excitement. Mason has shown some mild displeasure with one of the female cats in the home, though she typically initiates it. With a simple "no" and redirection, he does just fine. It took him a little time to warm up to our 16-year-old, but now he's comfortable being pet and even lets him take him out for potty breaks. He does not use a crate in our home. At night, he loves to cuddle with us, and during the day he's happy relaxing on a dog bed. Mason can be a bit sensitive to fast movements and loud noises, and he will bark when he hears unfamiliar sounds or knocks at the door. Overall, he's a loving, expressive boy who just needs a patient home to help him continue to feel safe and confident.
