About Benny
Benny is a three-year-old Lab mix with a short, chocolate brown coat. Life started tough for Benny—he spent most of his early years in a crate and missed out on basic socialization. He’s just now learning what it means to be a dog, working through the basics of obedience and enjoying time outside of confinement. Benny is friendly with other dogs once introductions are handled with care; he does best with non-dominant canine buddies. Benny hasn’t met cats yet. He does better in an adult household or with older teenagers who will respect his space and boundaries. He tends to bond more quickly with women but can learn to trust men who give him time and patience. Crate training is coming along nicely, though he’ll need some help getting the hang of house training. Benny is a genuinely sweet dog who deserves a fresh start with a patient, understanding owner. Give him the chance he’s been waiting for. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
